Hi,

I have a master movie into which 3 swf's have been loaded.  The mastermovie gets loaded with a trasparent background onto a website that has a gradient background.  To accomplish this seemlessly, I think I need to mask one of the loaded movies.

Is there a way to mask a movieclip loaded via as3?

Sure, when you have the SWF loaded, it's just a MovieClip, so mask it as you would anything else, however, if it's already transparent then it'll retain the transparency, so you shouldn't need to mask it anyway.
