How do i disable Cisco Aironet Support on a 5508 Controller

I need to disable Cisco Aironet Support to fix some issues with symbol mc9060 handhelds. Is this done globally or on a per wlan basis?

I believe that this setting must be done per WLAN ID not globally:

WLAN --> WLAN ID --> Advanced --> Aironet IE --> Enable.  Remove the check mark on the Enable box.

Not sure if this is the answer you are looking for.
