I am trying to get an A/P aging report to export to Excel, and I can't get a clean one.  It destroys the format if I download it to file, and it doesn't have the aging buckets in smartlist that I could find for AP in MS Dynamics 10.  Any thoughts on the best way to do this?  Does Dynamics 2010 have this exportable to Excel?

Hi,

This is a common request, but as of GP 10, as you have discovered, there is no easy way to accomplish an export of the aging report to Excel.  I'm not aware of a feature in GP 2010 that changes that, but there could be something.

The only possible alternative I can think of is to use the SQL Server Reporting Services version of the AP Aging report to see if that is any more export-friendly, or if it can be modified to be acceptable in Excel.  I don't have SSRS setup with the GP reports, so I can't test it readily.

In the past I've developed a custom query that reproduced the standard AR aging report, and then exported the results of that query to Excel.  The big limitation of that approach was that it was only the current aging--it was not the historical aging.

Thanks,
