nano syntax highlighting

I would like to know if it is possible to turn syntax highlighting on, feature in nano text editor?

can you please help me step by step instructions?

check the file and comment out the lines of color code

Tried creating /etc/nanorc & added syntax highlighting, then it worked like charm!
