i have created a user id in linux RHE 5.5 with his home folder as
/home/username
and i did share his home folder in  sama so everyone in windows network to see  .
Windows users can rea/write to his home folders.
Also mac osx10.4. users can read/write
but it is denying access to mac os 10.5.8 machines.

i put /home in the samba share and was able to rea/write by max osx10.5.
but they can not do anything /home/home folder
why mac osX 10.4 can do but 10.5 can not ?

.

i have no problem with samba connectivity.
only issue on permission
why the permissions are not same for both MAX os X10.4 and 10.5.
samba debies to 10.5 but not 10.4.
