This router lately is giving me a fit. I have 2 laptops that i know work and a wireless usb card that i know works but fro some reason cannot connect sometimes to the wireless network now. I did firmware upgrade and then i noticed the issues of bad connectivity. I will roll back the firmware if i can. But what other could cause connectivity issues? The channel its operating on? I know the basics... walls,phones...etc. But it just started. I am thinking firmware what about you guys?

I think you are right, i used to have a Netgear router myself and it worked flawlessly until i decided to run a firmware update then it just stopped working. In my opinion, if it isn't broke dont fix it. Which was the mistake i made when i decided to upgrade my firmware. So i agree with your assumption that the firmware is to blame. I hope you have better luck rolling it back then i did. And Netgear support was worthless in my case. Good luck!

Hi- can you elaborate on the connectivity issue?  Is it low bars, or is the network not appearing/no IP address assigned?
