Hello,

I'm moving an Navision 4.0 SQL database to a new server. Detached and attaced on the new server and data base is runnin.

so far so good.

If i want to open my database from my client it says that my license does not allow to open MS sql server.

So i tried to export the license file from my old server but every time i try to export it, the license file stays empty. Or i get an old license without the SQL option.

Any help is welcome

sorry for the late reply.
I did knew the license is stored inthe master database of the sql instance

"Table dbo.$ndo$srvproperty in Master"

Apparently NAV doen's have an option to export that table 2 another server. So this is what we did.

- dropped the tabel in a new database
- detached that database
- Attached that database in new instance  on new server
- dropped that tabel into the master database tabel.

and voila...

maybe there is a quicker way but this one worked..

thanks any why
