Hi,

If Splat won't install and the product isn't on the HCL here - http://www.checkpoint.com/services/techsupport/hcl/ - then your best option is to raise a ticket with CheckPoint to ask the question about your hardware.

Ah it on ESX, it seems to be related to mass storage as I have an other ESX server with local disk and it installs fine

As above, you may need to raise a ticket with CP to see if your mass storage is / can be supported. WHat is it that you're using?

THe san we are using is an IBM 4300, this did not cause any issues on NGX R65.   I have a support ticket open with CP

THe ESX server I have with localdisk is on another site that the gateways, Following best practices is it a valid option to manage the gateway with SCS server on aother server.  In the past I have perferred to have my scs on the same site has my gateway.
