using windows XP pro search

I am running windows XP pro and server is running windows 2003. When i search for file name from xp pro client to server, i get windows service is not available on remote computer. This start to happen when i upgrade to office 2007.

Go to start - run - services.msc
select the server service and start it and check once

the Server service is already started.
I think this new Windows search is new when i upgraded Office 2007. Is there something i have to enable or installed to utilized this new search program?

1) Have you checked from the server whether the server service has started or not
2) There is no link between MS office 2007 and system files or server related
3) Try to disable your windows firewall from your server and check once
4) Install the Ms Office service pack from this location

1. server service is started.

Windows Search was included in Office 2007
the latest version is here:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=940157

You need to have the Terminal Services and also the Windows Search services running

The problem was i need to index the network drive before searching.
