I just upgraded from VS2005 to VS2008... pulled up a project... I'm having a problem with controls disappearing off the page... in fact, all controls... I see them.... switch to source... and then back to design... and the controls are all invisible... they still remain in source... and on the document outline tab... but there is nothing on the design screen (split or full)... this has happened to two of my pages... I have upgraded to the latest version... and checked again for updates... I've shut-down, re-booted... still gone from design page... but in source.  Thanks for any help on this...

Update: I just removed the Ajax update panel (through source)... and all controls are now visible... then I put the update panel that shipped with 2008 and they disappeared again... I do have the original Ajax installation... but I also have other 2005 pages on this system I need to keep the old install for...
