SQL 2005 errors

After a 18 hours power failure this past weekend i was able to restrt the servers

now I am getting these errors

#50071: Unable to connect to the database SharePoint_Config on tgcs001.  Check the database connection information and make sure that the database server is running.

event id 27745 was repeated 4 times

All the sql server serices are started

Any ideas

>> Check the database connection information and make sure that the database server is running.

Are you able to connect to the databases from SSMS or other SQL Server client.
If so, then check whether the connection credentials provided in Sharepoint are correct or not.

>> The description for Event ID ( 27745 )

Try executing the below commands from Command prompt..

net stop “Windows SharePoint Services Timer”
net start “Windows SharePoint Services Timer”
