Anyone have any ideas on how to stop Solarwinds IP Address Tracker from crashing on exit when running in Windows 7 ?

You could try to run it as administrator or in compatibility mode:

Maybe check if there any updates to the product.

Thanks for the suggestion Robbe - I tried every compatibility mode offered and it still crashes on exit.  (I have the latest version available).

You could use windows XP mode. I'm currently downloading the software to test it works. I'll keep you up to date.

Thanks Robbe - I did actually try Windows XP in compatibility mode, is that what you were referring to ?
To recreate the crash, install application - add a subnet, complete a scan for that subnet, then exit the application - thats when it crashes for me anyway..

No i'm referring to the new virtual pc feature. You can run legacy application transparantly in a virtual machine. applications installed in the VM will then be published to the host's start menu. If you start them they will start in the VM in the background and windows will only show to application windows on the host.

Which error do you get? I can run the applcation without any problems on my 32bit Windows 7 Enterprise.

I have attached the error message I get each time I try to exit the application.  I am running Win 7 Professional 32 Bit.
I am going to Virtual PC feature next.
