SharePoint Foundation 2010: Accessing document workspace data at parent level

Hi,

i made a team site and created a document workspace in it. I uploaded docs to shared documents library of this workspace. Now i want the publish documents of this workspace to be available at the parent level site i.e team site

Please assist on this

not sure if the content query web part is available in SharePoint Foundation 2010, it is in ent.

add this web part to your team site and you'll see the web part has options to say what site\library to get content from.

Hi,

I found myself. Below are steps.

Subsite List settings >Advanced Settings >Custom Send To Destination > type the name of the Library/List where we want to move the data along with URL

This allows us transporting the data from subsite to parent.

Just selec the file > contenxt menu > send to > and there shows the option of sending it directly to parent’s librbay/list
