Assigning universe to specific users

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I would like to assign users access to specific universes.
All the universes are stored in the root folder UNIV.

We have four user groups (A,B,C,D) and the universes A1, B1, C1, D1, E1
We would like group A to have access to A1 and C1.
Group B to B1 and C1
Group D to D1 and A1.
We don’t want to create subfolders. Rights can be assign at the root level UNIV or at the indivdual universe level.
How can we achieve the scenario.

Hi,
The security setup and options vary according to the version of Business objects you are using.
If you don't want to create sub folders then you can apply the rights at individual universe level.
Select universe A1 and add the required access for groups A & D
Select universe B1 and add the required access for group B
Select universe C1 and add the required access for groups A & B
Select universe D1 and add the required access for group D

Hope I answered your question
