So if I install a client program to someone's hardrive that I want to point a file on a CD/DVD, it will point back to the DVD drive, whatever that happened to be when they installed the program.

Hi vadimrapp1!

Do you know if that option is version dependent?  Right now I am using InstallShield Express version 3.5 SP4.  I don't see any option for [SourceDir] in the list of choices -- the options which display for me are:

AdminToolsFolder
AppDataFolder
CommonAppDataFolder
CommonFilesFolder
DesktopFolder
FavoritesFolder
FontsFolder
GlobalAssemblyCache
LocalAppDataFolder
MyPicturesFolder
NetHoodFolder
PersonalFolder
PrimaryVolumePath
PrintHoodFolder
ProgramFilesFolder
ProgramMenuFolder
RecentFolder
SendToFolder
StartMenuFolder
StartupFolder
TempFolder
TemplateFolder
WindowsFolder
WindowsVolume

These choices are known folders on destination computer, it's not all properties that are available. Just type it.

You can see the full list of all properties in the installation by looking in the end of the detailed installation log.
