IRR it's an excel formula that will calculate the Internal Rate of return for an investment.
It requires values such as Purchase, sold , and a value of an investment to calculate . I have this information in the db. I just don't know how to apply the fomula and if it's possible.

If the information is stored in the CRM database then it should be possible to do the calculation.

Firstly, where do you want to see the result, on a CRM form? If so, then you will probably need to use a Form event with Javascript to do the calculation and store the result in a field on the CRM form.

Alternatively, you can run a query against filteredviews in the CRM database and do the calculation in Excel

Or maybe you'd like to see the result in a SQL Reporting Services report.
