BES Software Configuration query
Hi
We are running BES 4.1.7 MR2.
I have one Appshare (Appshare1) that contains the following apps:
App1 v1.1
App2 v1.1
App3 v1.1
I have a second Appshare (Appshare 2) that contains the following apps:
App4 v1.1
App1 v1.0
I have created a Software Configuration (SW1), using Appshare 1, that deploys App1,App2, and App3 to my device. All have installed succesfully.
I then created a second Software Configuration (SW2), using Appshare 2, but where only App4 was ticked for deployment. I then apply this to my device.
Will the fact that Appshare 2 contains an older version of App1, which is already installed on my BB, make a difference? Just to clarify, in the second Software Configuration, I did not tick this for deployment?
On a second question, all my users have SW1 applied to them. The vendor then releases App1 v1.2. What is the best way to upgrade this on my users' devices?
