I am running a windows 2008 server with TS Web and RemoteApp.

Mostly it works great.
I have several machines that will not start the applications when the icon links are selected.
All client machines are XP SP3
Some IE6 and some IE7.
RDP is enabled in the browsers.

Any suggestions.....

What version of the Remote Desktop Client is running on the XP SP3 machines?

To confirm:  are you trying to start the applications from TS Web?

Have finaly got it to generate an error.  When I switch to the remote desktop option and type a server, I recieve the following error:
Automation server can't create object.

I found several possible fix's including reregistering several DLL's and trying to install Windows Script 5.7. (Will not let you install under SP3)

There were several suggestions to change security on 3 registry entries.

Tried them all to no avail.

I have this currently on only 2 machines.  Have tested on 50 others and no problem.

Finaly ended up rebuilding several of the units for other reasons......Including messing one up worse trying to fix it.....

It works fine after I rebuilt them.
