Windows 7 x64 HP - touchpad + keyboard nonfunctional
I have removed the drivers and reinstalled them even though in device manager they show as working correctly and no issues by attaching an USB mouse and keyboard that work just fine. Any help is much appreciated.
most laptops can disable the touchpad either using a Fn key combo or in the bios. check both.
if you have fitted RAM recently, its possible the ribbon cable may have been moved, if you RAM is seated under the wrist rests. This would need reseated to make the touchpad and keyboard work.
