How do I fix this?

Your problem is related to a bug in the 64 bit version of Adobe Reader. I've found two solutions:

Download the fix here http://www.pretentiousname.com/adobe_pdf_x64_fix/index.html or Download foxit pdf preview handler from this site http://timheuer.com/blog/archive/2008/05/09/foxit-pdf-preview-handler.aspx.
