How can I print Outlook 2010 Contacts when not on the network

Here is the run down:

We purchased a new laptop with Office 2010 H&B, we have Exchange 2003 running on our domain. When the new laptop is not in the office on the LAN/WLAN they cannot print their contacts because it says it needs to contact the exchange server. He can edit view and save his contacts but not print them.

Anyone have ideas?  I was going to try using Hamachi to test if that would at least allow him to print. But if there is an obvious setting I am missing I would appreciate someone pointing it out to me.

Thank you in advance,

Rod.

Hi, Rod.

Can he print from other applications when not connected to the office network?  Is he perhaps trying to print to a printer that's on the network?

The solution ended up being to go to offline mode. The contacts printed fine then.

Thanks for the reply though.
