Hi,

I need a plugin / script so I can show a image rotator on the header of my blog.
The images are 300px x 80px
I have 4 images and if a customer clicks on one of the images they should be directed to url I want.

Someone a idee?

Thanks.

This is a good one. You can use it with NextGen Gallery too (It may require NextGen Gallery)

JW Image Rotator:
http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/jw-image-rotator/

and the JW Player:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-jw-player/

I have never used this one:

I tried them all.
NextGEN installed (is working)
JW Image Rotator gives an error on installing the plugin (header problem), i think because it is an Artisteer 2.5 design.

Latest one, is working, the only problem is, no clickable images and images will not fit in the box. Other thing is problem with transparant png (trans = black).

The JW Image Rotator is very picky. I messed with it for a week. I don't know why but it was a pain to install. I could have swore when it finally worked it was in the same place I put it 4 times. I never installed the plug-in for image rotator, i simply placed it in my uploads folder. The only file you need out of the entire thing is the imagerotator.swf, and it has to go in the uploads folder of your site. I believe it has to be here: /wp-content/uploads

After placing it there, go to the NGgallery options, go to the slideshow tab in the options page and select automatically detect. It should find it, then everything should work fine. If it doesn't find it you will get bright red message at the top of the NGgallery Options page saying so. I am going to try to send you the imagerotator.swf file, but I don't know if I will be able to upload it through EE. If I can't find the .swf file and place it where I stated.

Let me know if you can't get it to work, I know of another, but it is a free version of a paid one. It works really good, but it has a swf banner logo in the top that you can't get rid of. The effects are great. The logo isn't that bad, but I couldn't make it stop linking to the site where I downloaded it when an image was clicked so I canned it.

I will respond as soon as I receive some news.
