Infoclient - Error at startup with Win Vista

I have a user who submitted the following recurring error .....

"Each time I turn on my laptop I'm getting the error message:  infoclient[20070910] has stopped working.  I then need to shut down whatever restarted before the message appeared and start it again."

I have looked all over for information on 'Infoclient' and find very little. What I did find said it was possibly an add on to Outlook, or malware. If anyone could shed some light on resolving this issue for her I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Are you able to right click on the exe and check to see who the software author is? It could possibly be inforetriever (names and product similar).

Check in add/remove programs to see what is installed.

It could possibly be some windows update that messed it up, maybe requires a software update or if of no use, either uninstall or remove from startup.

CCleaner (freebie) is a tool to help you easily manage what programs have been installed and what runs on startup and you can manipulate startup there.
