Excel 2010 Template location

Anyone know where the default template location for Excel 2010 is (why is it so difficult to find!)
I have created a custom template and want it to appear in the users template list

It also depends on the operating system. In Windows XP, the default path for the 2010 templates is

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates

This may be different in Vista or Windows 7

I'm using Win7 and Office2010 - it does indeed appear that the location of ALL templates is determined by the setting in WORD as @teylyn suggests - how intuitive !!
I did suggest exactly the same tihing :-)
it was calacuccia who pointed out that the template location for Excel is set in Word.

I just showed the 2010 way of accessing the Modify dialog.
