Blackberry Desktop 6.0 just hangs

I have loaded Blackberry desktop 6.0 on Windows Vista yet when i run it, it just hangs.  I unloaded it and then reloaded it but it still doesnt work.  Any suggestions

I would suggest a full un-install of all Blackberry software from the machine using, revo un-installer, this makes sure that all related registry keys , etc are deleted.

Reboot the PC and download the newest version from the web and install.

It didnt work.  I dont think Version 6 is compatable with Verizon phones.  I liked the Revo suggestion so will definately award some points
