In my ASP.NET 3.5  web application I want a feature for  user that they can drag any item from list box and drop that item into tree view.
Also the item that is dragged from list box should not be removed from list box.
If it is possible without any third party control  then it is fine .
I am not using silver light in my application.

Drag and drop in ASP.NET is complex programming because it ALL has to be done with JavaScript to work on the client.  I think your odds of someone doing all that work and providing it for free are extremely low.

Telerik and Infragistics both provide high quality libraries for web programming in ASP.NET but they cost money.  Otherwise you have to build it yourself.

Hi tedbilly,

After long RnD , I found that you are right that's why I am accepting your answer as solution.
Hope in near future I could develop such type of control.

Thanks

After RnD I came to knwo that In asp.net any freeware toolkit or library does not provide the facility of drag and drop between list box and tree view control. Also neither one has go through such type of problem where they need such type of control.
