Alter printer settings using by changing PPD file

Hi,

I have created a printer driver that allows the user to print a document, using our application.  Now, I want to change the setting: "Spool print documents so program finishes printing faster" automatically.  Does anyone know how to do that?

Hi,

Thank you.  The problem that i am having is this.  With my printer driver, for a certain document, it stops the print spooler entirely, and the document never gets printed.
I want to set it such that it "Starts printing after the last page is spooled".  Now this is for a client of our, that we dont go to often, I need to add this to the PPD file to rebuild this driver and send it to them.

What printer do you have? Model Number? and Driver Version?
Updating to the latest driver version could solve your problem.

No, I'm looking for a way to programatically alter those settings.  We created the printer driver.  And we need to create the update for this driver.
