I need to find out if there is a way to deploy hotfix 3 for Autodesk Maya 2011 silently to at least a hundred PCs (Windows XP Pro SP3). Specifically we have Autodesk Educational Suite for Entertainment Creation 2011 installed, of which Maya is one component.

There are a number of .MSI files scattered throughout the Hotfix's subfolders but I would like to know how to deploy it fully without doing it manually on each PC. Can anyone provide assistance with this?

You realize the hotfix 3 for Maya 2011 is over 1 Gig in file size right?  If you were going to install this on over 100 workstations, through the network, you're talkin' a lot of bandwith.

Anyway, read page 33 of the following PDF file, it talks about network installs of Maya.  Since Maya hotfix 3 is essentially a re-install of the entire application, you'll want to follow this info:

Not got round to trying it yet but I will investigate what you suggested.

Thanks.
