Having issue setting up email on outlook 2010. Using Exchange 2003
I am having problems setting up email on outlook 2010. Email is located on a remote exchange 2003.
I have test account using thunderbird and work fine.
The error message is:
Log onto incoming mail server (pop3). Your email server sever rejected your user name. Verify your user name for this account in Account Settings. The server responded -err invalid command.

Are you trying to setup the account as an Exchange account or as a POP3 account?
Is pop3 enabled on your exchange server?
use full user name and domain for login i.e. domain\username
Are you using the same settings that you did with Thunderbird - i.e. POP server, username, password?
It could be the way your username has been entered
Try DOMAIN\USER\MAILBOX
Try the e-mail address
