Exchange OWA Access via Data IP VPN branch network
I am posting the same question for your attention get a more detail respond
My Exchange 2010 owa path https://srv2.xyz.com/owa not accessible from the branch office without ip address . https://192.168.20.60/owa will repond from the remote VPN sites .
Head office – 192.168.20.0/24 Exchnage server - 192.168.20.60 ADDNS-xyz.com
Branch 1 – 192.168.60.0/24 - separate AD domain xyz.local
Branch 2 – 192.168.30.0 –workgroup
I have add A record pointing to srv2.xyz.com head office and working fine . currently my new server not in live for public access . public access I can open the port 443 in my router will resolve as mentioned one of the expert-exchange user .
My question is my all branch users(data Ip VPN users ) will it be possible to access the mail server in head office style entering the https://srv2.xyz.com/owa. To do so what changes needs to be made . I hope we need to do something in the each router in the branch or can I go with port 443 as public user ?
Just I am thinking of going with all the braches outlook any ware as a client option except few users .

issue on the branch netwotk does not have have any record pointing to srv2.xyz.com in their local dns servers. for an exsample branch1 which is 192.168.60.0 /24 network with dns server 192.168.60.8 .
do i have to enter A record point to exchange server srv2.xyz.com 192.168.20.16 or any forwader to gointo 192.168.20.8 ?
