Windows CA Migration x86 to x64

Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to migration my CA that's on Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition to Windows Server 2008 R2.

I was succesfully able to deploy certificates services using the exsisting key from the 2003 server. But the problem I run into is when I try to import the database.

Am I able to migrate the database accross platforms? Is there something else I need to do?
When I try and restore the database I get the following error.

"The expected data does not exsist in this directory. Please choose a different directory.
The directory name is invalid. 0x8007010b (WIN32/HTTP: 267)"

Yes I have, that article states that x86 to x64 is not possible. But it is reffering to windows server 2003.

This article: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=116454
States that x86 to x64 is support. So I don't know what to believe.
well, since you're using R2, you should read this document:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=f2d08680-0875-44d3-bb5f-c5b05ac7201b&displaylang=en
In the Unsupported Upgrade Scenarios, it says

Cross-architecture in-place upgrades (for example, x86 to x64) are not supported.
I believe you're reffering to an AD upgrade, for which I am aware. I'm trying to do a migration of a CA not an in-place upgrade of an active directory domain controller.
