asp.net 2010 .net 4.0 generate .doc or .pdf document

In the past....vs 2005 and vs 2008, I've used crystal reports to make my pdf's and then send them via email.  I'm doing a new site and I'm at the end, just my reports left to do and I've found that CR is not included in VB2010 yet.  I've downloaded the beta and the release should be out by the end of the year, but either way I need to finish this up and I prefer not to put CR beta on my production server.  So my question really is....is there a way to create an emailable document from just one record in a database without CR?

HAv eyou tried SQL Server Reporting Services... comes bundled with SQL Server 2005/2008 (I think even the Express Editions with Advanced Features provide it)

Alternatively... you could just create an HTML representation of your report and mail that through System.Net.Mail
