I have a secure, SSL encrypted Jabber chat server. It works great.

I am currenlty reocmmending folks use Pandion (http://pandion.im/download) as the client, because it is easy to use.

However, it doesn't support file transfer (preferably drag and drop, but I am not that picky).

Does anyone have any recommendations of a Jabber client that will support SSL encrypted traffic (port 5223) AND do file encryption?

Do not suggest Trillian. No points for Trillian.

Not sure about file encryption but for IM we like PSI http://psi-im.org/.  We run our own jabberd as well and this client works very well.

By the way it does say it does file transfer.  I just haven't tried it.

Good luck.
