If I want to allow my IT tech to update the exchange group lists, what AD group should they be part of?

recipient management, this will allow them to create and manage all kinds of recipients, if you added those IT to the group managers then they will be able to manage the group membership

I found "recipient exchange administrators" under the microsoft exchange security groups folder.  Are you saying to add this one user to this group, or create a new "manager group" with rights to the recipient exchange administrator group and then add this one person to that new "manager group"?  Thanks in advance!

The exact error message popping up when my IT tech tries to update the email group with another user is:

"changes to the public group membership cannot be saved.  You do not have sufficient permission to perform this operation on this object"

Where exactly is permission granted to this object, and how would one know where to start to look?  Thanks in advance!
