Uninstalling Microsoft .Net 2.0 on Exchange server?

I'm having issues with a Symantec backup install that requires Sql Server Express and it's been recommended that I uninstall Microsoft .Net 2.0 along with the Sql Native Client.  Microsoft Exchange 2007 is running on this server, will uninstalling and reinstalling Microsoft .Net 2.0 affect Exchange, as I know it's a prerequisite.  Thanks.

Yes!
It will affect the OWA and Autodiscover features such as OOF issue.
Please dont uninstall .Net on the server it can break the complete Exchange server as well, as EWS and Autodiscover file uses asmx files.
