My low beam headlamps on my 1979 Cadillac do not work. What would cause that?

Please select from this options

A) I think you have burned out both head light bulbs. Just replace them.

B) You either have a problem with the dimmer switch being bad and not working the low beam  circuit or with the wiring connector to the switch. They like to melt and cause poor connections because of the high amperage that goes through the switch, which is not heavy enough to handle the current load.

C) This can only be caused by a bad head lamp switch on the dash. When these switches start to go bad, the low beams are the first thing to fail.

D) If you will inspect the front end wiring harness you will find that the bolts that hold the ground wires have gotten loose or rusted and the low beams have lost their ground.
