InfoPath 2010 field size issue
In InfoPath 2007, as with InfoPath 2010, you could insert a repeating table with a drop-down list box that pulled data from a SharePoint list. But in InfoPath 2007 you could resize the drop-down list box to be bigger that the repeating table cell where it is located.
In InfoPath 2010 the drop-down list box is limited to the size of the cell it is located. And when I try to adjust the list box properties the fileds under the 'Size' tab are grayed out.
Is there a setting somewhere locking the list box size or is other programing required to achieve this now?

If you go into InfoPath 07 and create a new repeating table and change one of the cells to a drop-down list. You can still drag the list field to be larger than the table cell. See attached screen shots from InfoPath 07

OK I got it. I thought you were trying to adjust the height not the width.
It would apprear that 2010 is trying to help you out from a design perspective.
I am guessing you are using a dropdown to do a lookup for you but then you have been hiding the arrow to make it look seamless.
You may be able to export to source files and doctor the field size in the template itself to get around this issue.
I also sometimes move back and forth between 2007 and 2010, since I still have some jscript code.
If it has been set in 2007 will it persist in 2010 until you touch it?

Sorry for the delay in response, been a busy month or so....
I think it is some kind of setting somewhere that is checked/unchecked that is forcing the field to 100% of the cell size, see attached pdf.
Thanks,
Bryan

Thanks, I will try that
So maybe it was 2003 that allowed this but it does not look like it is possible now.
