Apple mail and import thunderbird folders, so install thunderbird next to MSN, import settings, copy data directory to MAC and import there again after checking thunderbird works.

So i will only have to use Thunderbird once to migrate the folders over.  I want to use Apple Mail to be my client for my MSN email.  I dont want to use another client (Thunderbird) to be my email client of record

Apple mail does not import MSN mail directly. Thunderbird imports it and apple mail imports from thunderbird.

I ahve set up apple mail to the Pop Server setting for Hotmail (MSN) all mail now comes directly to the Apple Client.   So thats done, all new email comes directly to the apple email client.  Now for the folders which holds older email (received before I set up Apple) I have to use Thunderbird to move them from MSN to Thunderbird then I can move them to apple email?

Are those IMAP personal folders?
I dunno much about MSN mail. Does it move to outlook express before thunderbird?
