XML Decoding?

Hello,

I parse a XML file I got with curl lib. The xml seems to be encoded. Like & = &
or much harder: afrench é = ée or also Renée.

Is there something to "decode" the xml to a readable text?

If you use a standard way of processing XML (such as SAX or DOM methods) those encodings will be converted for you. Which method that you use would depend on the requirements of how you want to process your XML. If you want some more info on the differences between these methods, let us know.

Wow....and another web services becomes a own country with own laws. So if the solution is on a competitors site, in fact there is no solution. Veryh andy statement.

I think its safe enough if I ask you to google for "decode html entities in c c++" and check the first few results. There is a solution on EE as well.
