Dll File Locked in TFS Error message when compile my solution

When I am compiling my solution I am keep getting this error message

Error:
the item $/myweb/file1.dll is locked for check-out by user1 in workspace mywebspace-rm

This error will follow with 3 more error messages telling me that the above dll is locked
I am using TFS askted the user who has it locked and he says he havent had it locked now how can I get rid of this message

I think you are using some source control for your code and that dll also has been added in that. some of your team member has locked it.

So when you try to build your code, and dll get modified, its not allowing to you modify your dll because its locked by another user.

Try to remove your dll from your source control and then recomplie.
