Hi,

I am creating a Rave Report using version 7 along with Delphi. I have a direct dataview setup in my report. Here is my question regarding the report format I would like to setup.

First of all, my  query looks something like this:
Select Rigs, Division, & Someother Fields.
  From MyTable
  Order By Division

Each Rig is assigned to a Division. I would like my report to print the Division as a header, then print all the Rigs under that Division. When the next Division comes up, I would like it to go to a new page, then continue printing all the Rigs for that Division and so on.

I've tried toying around with the Databands and StartNewPage, but to no avail.

  Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan

That's called a master-detail relationship with datasets, so look for databands and datasets settings such as master, detail, masterfield, detailband etc.

I was able to derive the information on this link provided by Aflarin to format my report accordingly.

Thanks for all the comments posted.
