Do you have a finger print reader?  If so Disabled DigitalPersona Plugin in IE 8

Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Internet Explorer.

Click the Tools button, and then click Manage Add-ons.  Highlight the add in and disable it.

I'm not sure if it's a known problem but the DLL that was causing the crash is associated with the finger print plug in.
