Backing up ios configs with tftpd32 - getting an access denied error
I'm trying to backup the configurations for my switches. The switch here is a 3560-24PS-s. I havev backed it up with the same tftp the only difference is I have a new windows 7 64-bit OS and hardware. I installed it and telneted into the switch and this is what happens.
32-Switch-1#en
32-Switch-1#copy running-config tftp
Address or name of remote host []? 10.3.50.108
Destination filename [32-switch-1-confg]?
TFTP: error code 2 received - 16739
%Error opening tftp://10.3.50.108/32-switch-1-confg (Permission denied)
32-Switch-1#copy running-config tftp
Address or name of remote host []? 10.3.50.108
Destination filename [32-switch-1-confg]?
TFTP: error code 2 received - 16739
%Error opening tftp://10.3.50.108/32-switch-1-confg (Permission denied)
32-Switch-1#ping 10.3.50.108
Type escape sequence to abort.
Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 10.3.50.108, timeout is 2 seconds:
!!!!!
Success rate is 100 percent (5/5), round-trip min/avg/max = 16/20/33 ms
32-Switch-1#
What am I missing? What causes TFTP: error code 2 received - 16739
