Hi all.  I have a site that was written in PHP/Jscript that works well in IE6.  My company is transitioning to IE8.  How would I go about making it compatible?

Working out little kinks like graphics can be worked on later, right now I cant even get the site to come up in ie8

What error messages do you get?  Where is the site hosted?  Locally or on an external server?

I ask about the hosting because I can't use IE8 for testing local files because there are too many things it won't run from a 'file' connection that work fine over the network.
