abc1 (master): The DFS Replication service is stopping communication with partner abc2 for replication group abc.local\abc\inetpub due to an error. The service will retry the connection periodically.

Any ideas on what could cause this and a solution? happens every 15 mins

Is there a firewall between these two hosts?
Are there any other system event logs relating to networking errors?

There is a Sonicwall firewall that they are passing thur.

I just lowered the bandwidth speed from the defaut "full" and it seems to have helped.. i don't get it they are on a gigbit local network

yeah upon further review the sonicwall is 10/100  but still was is full max it out?

It shouldnt but I have seen replication problems with 10/100 firewalls connected to devices set at 1000 full.

not sure.  Still init. stage waiting to see if it will throw more errors. hoping it won't and that i can move the server to a off site location and hook it up and have it work
