Hi experts, I have a HP LaserJet 3030 All-in-One Printer.

The problem is the fax starts automatically after a few seconds when i receive a phone call.

The printer is connected to a phone line that has 2 seperate numbers (1 for receiving phone calls and 1 for faxing)

Please help.

Do you mean one phone cord (2 Pair/4 Conductor), with one line per pair?

If so, the easiest thing to do is hit up Radio Shack or similar and get a line splitter,  like this one: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3900035

hello, i bought a splitter and connected the phone to it (the phone was in another room)  i had to buy an extension to connect the phone from the splitter to the other room.

Now I have another phone in downstairs and I am wondering if it will work with another splitter.

Thanks for your tips
