Xbox LIVE Vision Webcam suddenly not being recognizd by  Windows 7

The title describes the problem. Part of the reason why I loved the XBOX Live Vision camera is that it was universally plug and play. Now it's stopped working on my Windows 7 64-bit computer and I can't figure out why.

When I plug it in, is says the device failed to install properly.

if no joy here, ask at the xbox360 forums http://forums.xbox.com/ the answer might already be there

Apparently it isn't compatible with Windows 7! Thanks.

Hang tight, surely they would come out with drivers soon after all it is ms related.
