Error using wsadmin remotely via powershell

I am attempting to run wsadmin.bat remotely via WiinRM's functionality in powershell.
When in a remote session, I try and run the command:
.\wsadmin.bat -user test -password test1 -lang jython
and I get the error message below. I have no idea where to even being to troubleshoot this, does anybody else?

JVMJ9VM015W Initialization error for library j9gc23(5): Failed to allocate default memory space
    + CategoryInfo          : NotSpecified: (JVMJ9VM015W Ini...lt memory space:String) [], RemoteException
    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : NativeCommandError

What is the current working directory?

I suggest that instead of using:

.\wsadmin.bat ...

that you fully qualify it

C:\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\bin\wsadmin.bat ...

Working Directory is D:\
Fully qualified name produces same results - its actually what I normally use, just used .\ so I didnt have to type it all out.

Simplify Active Directory Administration

Administration of Active Directory does not have to be hard.  Too often what should be a simple task is made more difficult than it needs to be.The solution?  Hyena from SystemTools Software.  With ease-of-use as well as powerful importing and bulk updating capabilities.

When you remotely execute the wsadmin command, do you specify a userid / password to be used to perform the connection?  Might it be executing, or trying to execute wsadmin without having sufficient permission/privileges?

I can run other commands remotely to this server with out any errors, as the account used to create and use the remote connection is local admin for the server.

  What kind of commands?

Are these other kinds of commands interactive?

The example you show in your question attempts to start an interactive wsadmin session.

Instead, try something like:

.\wsadmin.bat -user test -password test1 -lang jython -c "print AdminConfig.list('Server')"
