Hello Experts
the main page on my sharepoint portal was checked out by one user and made changes and then they are trying to check back in or publish it. Its not working, it says unable to
complete this operation, please contact your administrator.
I tried to go into manage content and structure and tried to discard check out and it still shows checked out to the user. Also tried to go to sharepoint site and tried to undo check out from sharepoint designer still same message.
Please help. why would it not be able to check back in or discard check out.
Thanks

It sounds like you don't have the correct permissions to do so.  Are you a site collection admin?

Under Modify Site Settings--Site collection administrators--I can see my name there.

Also when I click Discard check out, the message warning saying " are you sure you want to discard check out doesn't pop up" either. Not sure whats going on here.

Thanks for your time.

How is the disk space on your sql server?

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

I see errors on db serevr for transaction log to be full. I think thats why its causing this problem. Do you know how I can truncate the logs?
Thanks for your help and time.

I've never done it, but check out this site:

I hope that helps...
