I have the Office Pro Plus 2010 and outlook freezes / crashes when I open a message and slide with the mouse over a contact.
message :
faulting application outlook.exe
Problem Event Name:    APPCRASH
  Application Name:    OUTLOOK.EXE
  Application Version:    14.0.4760.1000
  Application Timestamp:    4ba8ff82
  Fault Module Name:    outlook.exe

I disabled all add-ins and even uninstalled them.
The one who keeps self-installings itself is : Exchange add-in (umoutlookaddin.dll).

outlook /safe works fine because the additional information about a contact is not displayed.

•I verified that I am not in Compatible mode.
•I tried uninstalling all but one e-mail account.
•I tried creating a new mail profile using the mail applet in Control Panel
•I tried uninstalling all e-mail accounts in Outlook and my Hotmail/Windows Live accounts.
•I tried uninstalling  the Outlook Connector•
•I tried deleting the ".ost" file
